Nearly every conference room scene in The Office portrays a relatively relaxed environment where free thought and participation are encouraged. While the topics discussed aren’t usually work-related, I thought it would be interesting to analyze the meetings from an organizational psychology perspective.
As I was watching The Office finale and listening to Pam speak these words, I was moved more by her emotional performance than the actual words. I had been taught to believe the exact opposite.
While I am obviously pro-Erin, I would like to write about one of Erin’s major flaws: not being assertive.
Some of the most moving moments for me actually are those centered around wacky characters with whom you wouldn’t normally empathize.
